The week so far….

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

I missed Pagham’s game against Crowborough on Saturday as I had man flu (”No you didn’t, you just couldn’t be bothered to go…” Racheal)….anyway, As I was saying….We lost 2-0, but have now played the top two sides in our league away from home. Pompey drew 0-0 against West Ham in a game which “Pompey Nev” described as “not a classic”….

Have now tried the PC demo for Stranglehold and it’s not bad…not bad at all… Very, very “Console” in that it’ll be good for a quick blast. Reminds me strongly of “Max Payne”, but that’s no bad thing. If I hadn’t had to spend an hour on the phone this evening trying to pay BT i’d have tried the XBOX 360 version. I will return with my thoughts on this.

Other than that, have noticed that all of a sudden the trees dumped their leaves this weekend…all at once ! It looks a bit bare here at Castle Dunworking now….roll on the springtime….

Compare and Contrast…

Couple of good things today….1) Getting my copy of “Official X-Box Magazine” for only £2.95 (a saving of £3) because the numpty at the counter couldn’t be arsed to change the price when the scanner played up.

2) Pagham’s fixtures for November being announced, and some breathing space for me as we only play at home twice. So, more time to contribute to Racheal and things at home in general.

Also picked up this month’s PC Gamer magazine. The cover DVD has a demo of “Stranglehold”, as does this month’s “OXM” cover DVD. I shall compare the two and report back…

Lots of colds going round at work…latest to fall foul of the curse of the lemsip is one of the young ladies who are going out on a hen-night tomorrow night…all I’ll say is if you’re in either Chichester or Bognor tomorrow night…be afraid…be very afraid….
